Automate the work. Accelerate the business.
DevShift Labs is an AI studio in Sofia. We help organizations automate what slows them down, build products around AI, and decide on evidence rather than instinct, with senior people who have led product, engineering and operations across several industries.

Companies we have worked with
What we do.
Four services, taken separately or together. Behind them is work across aviation, fintech, telecom, marketing, social media and mobile gaming, and a habit of measuring results rather than promising them.
AI automation & agents
Agents that take repetitive work off your team, and in time entire functions. In operations: documents, records, bookings and reports. In engineering: tests, tickets, code review and releases. Built, tested and monitored by engineers.
AI products & systems
Web, mobile and API products and internal platforms designed around AI from the first version, grown into the complete system, and run in production.
Data & decision intelligence
Large volumes of operational and financial data turned into dashboards, analysis and forecasts, with AI writing the read-out, so decisions get made on evidence, in minutes rather than weeks.
Executive & board advisory
An independent sounding board for C-level leaders and board members, and a mentor for the teams below them: AI strategy, pricing and growth, product and mobile UX, data, and organization and change across regions.
Selected work.
Three examples we can describe in detail, all running in production: two finance functions handled by agents, and a dashboard that shows an owner how the business performs, hour by hour. They are a selection; much of our work stays with the client.
AI automation, finance operations
Autonomous accounts payable
An AI agent that turns a shared folder of invoices and bank statements into a maintained payables ledger, a live dashboard and a payment tracker, with no manual data entry.

Bookkeeping review automation
An agent that reviews every ledger posting against years of audited bookings, the invoice register and the source documents, and returns its feedback as a short, evidence-scored queue.

Business performance dashboard
Hundreds of thousands of raw transactions turned into a dashboard that shows an owner how the business performs: profit per staffed hour, trends and movers, and the read-out written by an AI agent.

From the first workflow to the whole operation.
Four stages that take AI from one automated workflow to systems that run at scale, and keep them reliable as they grow.
Map
We start with the work as it is done today and choose the first place where AI will make a visible difference.
Pilot
One process, automated and in real use within weeks, measured against the way it was done before.
Harden
Guardrails, evaluation, monitoring, and the human checkpoints the process needs.
Scale
Operate it, extend it to the next process, or hand it over documented.
What working with us looks like.
Experience first, then AI
Every engagement is led by people who have run product, engineering, operations or finance for years, across industries. That experience decides where AI belongs in your business and how it is implemented and tuned. No generic playbook.
AI first
Our default is to automate. Before adding people or process to a problem, we ask what AI can take off the table. When the honest answer is not much, you hear it.
Inside your team, or on our own
Hand us a project and we scope, build and deliver it. Bring us into your team and we work inside your environment, on your process and your tools. Every client is different, and the setup follows the work.
Built to run, then handed over
Monitoring, guardrails, documentation and an owner on your side are part of every system. Keep us close afterwards, or take it in-house with a clean handoff.

What does an AI studio actually do?
We make AI part of how a company operates: agents that take over repetitive work in operations and in software delivery, products designed around AI, and a data layer that lets leaders decide on evidence. Everything is measured in time and money saved, or in decisions made sooner and better.
Where does AI pay back first?
Wherever the same rules are applied to the same kind of input every day: invoices, records, tickets, test cases, releases, reports. That is where an agent earns its keep quickly. We start there and expand once the results are in.
What's your approach to AI?
AI is one tool among several, and we treat it like any other piece of software: tested, monitored, with a clear owner, and with a person deciding wherever a mistake would be costly. If a plain rule would do the job better, we use the plain rule.
Does this replace people?
It replaces work, and sometimes an entire function's worth of it, so the same team can do more or a smaller team can do the same. Judgment stays with people; the system brings them the cases that need it. What that means for roles is your decision, and one we help you plan.
Can you work with our existing systems?
Yes. We connect to what you already run, from an ERP or ticketing system to shared drives, spreadsheets and legacy APIs. The point is to remove work, not to add another tool to look after.
How do you work with clients?
It depends on what you need. Hand us a project and we scope, build and deliver it, keeping you informed at a cadence you choose. Bring us into your team and we adapt to your process and tools rather than bringing our own.
How long does it take?
A well-defined workflow is usually automated and in use within days or a few weeks; a first version of a product within weeks. The slow part is rarely the technology. It is agreeing how you want things done and which exceptions matter.
Do you stay involved after launch?
For as long as it is useful. Many clients keep us on a retainer to monitor, improve and extend what we built; others take it in-house with full documentation. Both are fine.
How do we get started?
